What is this?

Targeted at GPs, general practice nurses (GPNs), physician associates (PAs), and any other clinicians who see patients with sleeping problems, these FREE webinars will:

Session 1 | Wednesday 16 November, 12.30PM – 02.00PM:

  • Give an overview of modern sleep medicine
  • Discuss the evidence that underlines the importance of sleep in the development of significant physical and mental health disorders
  • Introduce the new REMEDY guidelines for sleep medicine
  • Provide an update on the management of:
    • Obstructive sleep apnoea

Session 2 | | Friday 25 November, 12.30PM – 02.00PM:

  • Provide an update on the management of:
    • Insomnia
    • Restless legs syndrome
    • Hypersomnias, including narcolepsy
    • Parasomnias
    • Circadian rhythm sleep disorders
Who will be speaking?

The facilitators will be:

  • Dr. Laura Buckley
    Laura is a respiratory consultant and the clinical lead for the Bristol Royal Infirmary’s sleep department
  • Dr. Dane Rayment
    Dane is a psychiatry consultant and the clinical lead for sleep at the Rosa Burden Centre, North Bristol Trust
  • Dr. David Garley
    David is a GP registrar, having previously been a respiratory registrar with an interest in sleep medicine
