I’m working as a Placement Expansion Lead focussing on Social Care and the PVI sector.   Developing capacity in this area to show the great work that’s done outside of the NHS and hospital and community care.  Helping people maintain their independence is vital to living longer and healthier.

 

I am utilising my skills as an ANP in a very different way helping to develop the next generation of nurses. I’m interested in developing novel ways of supervising and coaching students and this has been an interest since my undergraduate days.  Longarm supervision is a way to help students where a registered professional isn’t based in the placement area.

 

I volunteer at festivals with Festival Medical Service and am a Queen’s Nurse.

 

In my free time, I sew, crochet and am a reluctant runner.  Fitness is something I do to be able to eat cake!!
